House Judiciary GOP Deletes Tweet Praising Kanye West Following His Antisemitic Rant
The official Twitter account representing Republicans in the House Judiciary Committee deleted a post praising Kanye West, following the rapper’s most recent antisemitic comments, which included praising Adolf Hitler.
In October, House Judiciary GOP posted a tweet that read: “Kanye. Elon. Trump.” which appeared to be a message of support for West, who was already under public scrutiny at that time because of antisemitic messages posted on social media.
On Thursday, West appeared on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones‘s show Infowars and went on the most recent antisemitic rant.
“Well, I see good things about Hitler also,” Ye told Jones. “I like Hitler.”

“I love Jewish people, but I also love Nazis,” he added.
A spokesperson for the House Judiciary GOP confirmed in a statement that they decided to delete the tweet “because of Mr. West’s repulsive comments.” The person didn’t answer why the account didn’t delete the post weeks before when West was already spreading anti-Jewish rhetoric.
On Friday, Twitter decided to suspend West’s account just two months after he was reinstated to the platform after the rapper tweeted a swastika symbol inside a Star of David.
Elon Musk, Twitter’s owner, who claims to be a free speech absolutist said he tried to keep West but added that the rapper violated the platform’s rules.
“I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended,” Musk tweeted.
