Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton defended herself against President Donald Trump’s latest attack. On Monday, Trump tweeted a conspiracy theory that claimed that search engine manipulation was what won Clinton the popular vote in the 2016 election.
WATCH BETO TAKEDOWN TRUMP:
The tweet read, “Wow, Report Just Out! Google manipulated from 2.6 million to 16 million votes for Hillary Clinton in 2016 Election! This was put out by a Clinton supporter, not a Trump Supporter! Google should be sued. My victory was even bigger than thought!”

Trump did not name where he got this information, but the tweet came after a Fox News segment about Robert Epstein. During testimony he gave to the Senate Judiciary Committee, Epstein said, “Google’s search algorithm likely impacted undecided voters in a way that gave at least 2.6 million votes to Hillary Clinton.”
Epstein seemed to have been citing a study done on the effect of search engines on voters.
“The debunked study you’re referring to was based on 21 undecided voters. For context that’s about half the number of people associated with your campaign who have been indicted,” Clinton tweeted back at the President.
Since the 2016 election, Trump has continued his attacks on his former rival. He has often claimed that Clinton won the popular vote by fraud in which millions of ballots were cast illegally.
