Herschel Walker’s Ex-Wife Claims He Held Her At Gunpoint In Resurfaced 2008 Footage
Georgia Republican Senate Candidate Herschel Walker is being accused of holding his ex-wife at gunpoint in a new political ad.
“Do you think you know Herschel Walker? Well, think again,” the ad, run by an anti-Trump group called The Republican Accountability Project, began.
The ad flashes to a video testimony by his ex-wife, Cindy DeAngelis Grossman.
“His eyes would become very evil. The guns and knives. I got into a few choking things with him,” she said in an interview that was taped after the release of Walker’s 2008 book titled Breaking Free: My Life with Disassociative Identity Disorder. “The first time he held the gun to my head, he held the gun to my temple and said he was gonna blow my brains out.”
Walker has previously refused to deny that Grossman’s claims occurred and that he “probably did it,” but couldn’t remember. The retired football player since said that he has since healed from Dissociated Identity Disorder.
Walker faces Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Georgia) in November. Warnock has also been accused of domestic violence by his ex-wife.
“I’ve tried to keep the way that he acts under wraps for a long time and today he crossed the line,” Ouleye Warnock told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in 2020 as Warnock ran in a special election to unseat then Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R). “So that is what is going on here. And he’s a great actor. He is phenomenal at putting on a really good show.”
