Vice President Kamala Harris recently released her medical records and dared former President Donald Trump to do the same.

Her records say she is in excellent health and has “the physical and mental resiliency required to successfully execute the duties of the presidency.” In her report, it states that she works out daily, eats healthy, is up to date on preventive care like colonoscopies and is at low risk for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.

Harris told reporters that other candidates have released medical information “except Donald Trump in this election cycle.” “It is clear to me that he and his team do not want the American people to really see what it is that he is doing and whether or not he actually is fit to do the job of being president of the United States,” she said.

This medical report is one way Harris is trying to get undecided voters on her side. Trump’s age, at 78, draws attention to his health because of his frequently rambling and disjointed speeches.

Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung said Trump voluntarily released this information, showing his excellent health. Jackson was later fired after reports of excessive drinking on the job; he has since become a congressman and staunch Trump ally, calling into question his objectivity.

As the oldest man to serve as president, President Joe Biden made repeated verbal gaffes and missteps, leading to his dropping out of the presidential race this summer.
