Harris Reports Astonishing $190 Million Raised In August – Four Times Trump’s Number

Kamala Harris reported a spike in fundraising, bringing in an astonishing $190 million in August.

In the same month, Donald Trump only raised a quarter as much – $44.5 million.

The Harris-Walz campaign raised $47 million in the 24 hours following the debate in early September. 

Harris’ donors included major celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Taylor Swift and employees from Elon Musk’s company, SpaceX.

Musk, a Trump supporter, has become a major donor for the Trump-Vance campaign. Trump recently announced that if he wins the election, Musk will be appointed to head a government efficiency commission.   

Polling aggregator Five Three Eight puts Harris 2.4 points ahead of Trump as of September 24. Polling in swing states Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, Wisconsin, North Carolina and Pennsylvania have shown the race virtually tied.

After his assassination attempt, Trump is expected to return to Butler, Pennsylvania, on Oct. 5. He has promised to pay his respects to those lost in the mass shooting at his July rally. 

Pennsylvania’s 19 electoral votes make it a tipping point swing state that will determine who will occupy the White House for the next four years.
