GOP Rep. Paul Gosar Accused Of Treason In Capitol Riot – By His Brother David Gosar

Arizona GOP Rep. Paul Gosar‘s brother, David Gosar, believes the congressman committed treason for his role in Jan. 6’s riot at the U.S. Capitol.

“What he’s done personally is commit treason, I think,” said David Gosar. “He has blood on his hands for those people dying in there.”

David Gosar and other family members are demanding an investigation to determine his role in organizing and promoting the Capitol mob. Rep. Cori Bush (D-Missouri) authorized House Resolution 25, which calls for a Congressional investigation.

“With his participation in the rally ahead of time, the lies he spread down there about the election, his meeting with Trump, he’s as instrumental as a member of Congress with what happened at that Capitol,” David Gosar said.

Ali “Alexander” Akbar, the man who says he is responsible for organizing the Stop the Steal Rally, claimed Gosar and Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Arizona) were among those who helped with the riots’ planning. Biggs has denied any involvement.

“It’s no secret some threw gasoline on an already raging fire,” said Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-Arizona). “Their actions should be investigated, and they should face consequences. If that includes expulsion, so be it.”

State Rep. Athena Salman wrote a leader, signed by Democratic legislative leaders, asking Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen and FBI Director Christopher Wray to investigate Gosar and Biggs’s roles.

“You look at what they were going before that day, and they were trafficking in Arizona lies and conspiracies,” Salman said.

No statement has been issued by either the FBI or the US Attorney General on the matter.
