GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert Says ‘Biden Should Have A Cognitive Test’

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colorado), a right-wing freshman congresswoman, said at a press conference that she believes President Joe Biden should take a cognitive test.

“I also believe that President Biden should have a cognitive test. I agree with my colleague Ronny Jackson, who has demanded a cognitive test of the president,” she said.

“He had to perform one for President Trump when he was President Trump’s doctor, but I do believe that this is deliberate. And that’s why we’re not seeing any real solutions, any real answers at the border.”

Boebert made a name for herself last year for making a controversial joke on her tweet about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) during the January 6 insurrection, saying that “the Speaker has been removed from the chambers.”‘

Last week, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) demanded that Biden take a cognitive test and share the results with the public.

Jackson was the White House physician in 2018 when former President Donald Trump was still in office. Jackson described Trump’s cognitive state as “very sharp.” His fawning description of Trump was widely mocked, including on Saturday Night Live.

Last Thursday, Jackson and 13 other Republican legislators signed a letter asking Biden to take the cognitive assessment.

“The American people deserve to have absolute confidence in their president,” said Jackson. “I would argue that the American people don’t have that confidence in President Biden.”

Jackson has been accused of making inappropriate sexual comments and bullying staff during his time at the White House.
