GOP Rep. Brandon Gill Introduces Bill To Require All $100 Bills Feature Donald Trump’s Face, Replacing Benjamin Franklin
Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Texas) introduced the Golden Age Act of 2025, a bill that would require Donald Trump’s face to be displayed on the front of every $100 bill.
“President Trump could be enjoying his golden years golfing and spending time with his family,” Gill declared in a statement. “Instead, he took a bullet for this country and is now working overtime to secure our border, fix our uneven trade relationship with the rest of the world, make America energy independent again, and put America first by ending useless foreign aid.”

“There has been no one who has done more to bring America into the golden age than President Trump,” he said. “Featuring him on the $100 bill is a small way to honor all he will accomplish these next four years.”

The Texas congressman’s bill requires the Secretary of the Treasury to release to the public the preliminary design of the $100 note prominently featuring Trump no later than Dec. 31, 2026.
Gill’s legislation would require all $100 bills after Dec. 31, 2028, to feature a picture of Trump on the front face of the note. Founding father Benjamin Franklin is currently on every $100 bill.
Gill joins a long list of Republicans seeking to honor Trump. On Feb. 14, Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-New York) introduced a bill to combine America’s annual commemoration of Flag Day with Trump’s birthday on June 14.
Earlier this month, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Florida) introduced legislation seeking to add the president’s face to Mount Rushmore.
