George Conway, White House aide Kellyanne Conway‘s husband, has become a vocal critic of the presidential administration his wife works for. Throughout Tuesday, the attorney published a series of tweets, fact checking many of President Donald Trump‘s claims.
Trump, sometime before his State of the Union address, tweeted how an abundance of people “are coming up through Mexico in the hopes of flooding our Southern Border,” adding how the United States will construct “a Human Wall” should he deem it necessary. “If we had a real Wall, this would be a non-event,” the president concludes.
Conway responded by sharing figures the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency released with the president, which are significantly lower than Trump’s tweet implies.
While Conway avoided directly commenting on Trump’s State of the Union address, he did retweet posts that challenge the president. Some of them can be seen below:
