Fox’s Lou Dobbs Attacks Sen. Lindsey Graham: ‘He Has Betrayed The American People’

Fox Business host Lou Dobbs attacked Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) on Friday, asking why anyone would vote for the Republican incumbent. Dobbs’ comments come less than two weeks before Graham’s highly contested election against Democratic candidate Jaime Harrison. Dobbs claims that the Republican senator has betrayed Trump and the American people, a statement which comes after Graham, who serves as the Senate Judiciary Committee chairman, announced that the CEOs of Twitter and Facebook would not testify regarding allegations of anti-conservative bias until after the November 3 election. Both Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey are under fire for restricting the sharing of a controversial New York Post article on Hunter Biden.

“Graham has betrayed President Trump at almost every turn,” Dobbs explained. “He has betrayed the American people and his oath of office. He’s done absolutely nothing to investigate Obamagate except to tell everyone, ‘Stay tuned,’ time and time again. Stay tuned. Sen. Graham needs to be tuned out in South Carolina.” Obamagate is President Donald Trump‘s long-standing false accusation that the Obama administration improperly “unmasked” former national security advisor Michael Flynn‘s name in a Russian intelligence report.

The South Carolina Senate race has received huge national attention and has forced Graham to make repeated fundraising pleas on Fox News. He fears he is being beat out by his opponent, especially due to the fact that Harrison has raised more than $100 million in 2020 and set a new record for the largest single-quarter total by any candidate in U.S. Senate history. A recent poll from Morning Consult shows Harrison up two points, but the election will remain an incredibly tight battle though to election day.
