Former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has been signed as a political commentator by Fox News.
Sanders announced her new job Thursday. “Fox News has been the number one news organization in the country for 17 years running and I am beyond proud to join their incredible stable of on-air contributors in providing political insights and analysis,” she said in a statement.
The announcement of her new gig at Fox did not take many by surprise. Twitter was abuzz with jokes about the former press secretary, who loyally defended Trump and was sometimes caught deliberately lying to press officials.
