Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the daughter of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R), released a video Sunday announcing her official bid for Arkansas governor in 2022.
Sanders famously served as former President Donald Trump’s press secretary, and her campaign video focused directly on her former position. “I took on the media, the radical left and their cancel culture, and I won,” claimed the former press secretary.
Sanders described the urgent need for candidacy, “everything we love about America is at stake, and with the radical left now in control of Washington, your governor is your last line of defense. In fact, your governor must be on the front line. So today, I announce my candidacy for governor of Arkansas and ask for your prayers and your support.”
Sanders has never held elected office, but since her resignation from the White House in 2019, she has been a Fox News contributor and published her memoir.
