Former Trump Administration Officials Say Trump’s Phone Calls With World Leaders Are A ‘National Security Threat’

Several former senior Trump Administration officials have deemed President Donald Trump a threat to national security due to his hundreds of unprepared and hostile classified phone calls with foreign heads of state during the past three and a half years.

Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Defense Secretary James Mattis, Chief of Staff John Kelly and National Security Advisers John Bolton and H.R. McMaster, all have slammed Trump for his unprofessional behavior during these calls.

These men have said that Trump was repeatedly “abusive” and “delusional” while discussing foreign policies with prominent global leaders.

The five former Trump staff claimed that the president frequently lashed out at these officials, saying that Trump tried to “bully” them into positions more closely aligned with his agenda than that of the country.

They also remarked that Trump saved his worst behavior for women, claiming that he “belittled” and “demeaned” U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The former Trump officials criticized Trump for going after leaders of important U.S. allies, reporting that Trump told May that she was “weak” and “lacked courage,” and even called her “stupid.”

Trump reportedly trashed former President Barack Obama to both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Erdogan.

Trump’s former staff also criticizes the president for acting in deference of Putin despite heightened tensions between the countries.
