The FBI has begun conducting multiple searches of Project Veritas personnel as part of their investigation into how Ashley Biden‘s diary was taken without her consent during the final days of the 2020 election.
Back in October 2020, Biden reported the stolen personal items to federal authorities, which prompted the DOJ to begin an investigation.
Project Veritas, a self-proclaimed right-wing investigative media outlet, has been described by one federal judge as a “political spying operation.”
Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe has commented on the ongoing investigation: “Our legal team previously contacted the Department of Justice and voluntarily conveyed unassailable facts that demonstrate our lack of involvement in criminal activity and/or criminal intent. Like any reporters, we regularly deal with the receipt of source information, and take steps to verify its authenticity and newsworthiness.”
