FBI Found ‘Dozens’ Of Classified ‘Top Secret’ Documents At Mar-a-Lago

The Federal Bureau of Investigation found dozens of classified documents during their Monday search of former President Donald Trump‘s Mar-a-Lago residence.

Sources told the media outlet that they found “boxes” containing the highest level of classified documents in Trump’s office and in a storage room.

Some of the files were marked “top secret,” and the FBI reportedly believed that classified nuclear documents were among those being hidden at the resort.

The FBI executed a search warrant as a part of the Justice Department’s probe into whether or not Trump illegally moved White House records to his Palm Beach, Florida estate.

The investigation was opened after the National Archives reported in February that 15 missing boxes of documents had been located at Mar-a-Lago, indicating Trump violated the Presidential Records Act which requires all important forms of communications, records and documents that the President touches to be preserved and sent to the National Archives at the end of his term.

If a federal judge decides to unseal the search warrant as requested by Attorney General Merrick Garland and Trump, details about what the FBI was looking for will become public.
