FBI Director Kash Patel Says His Home Was ‘Swatted’

FBI Director Kash Patel has revealed that his home was “swatted” last week.

“As Director of the FBI I have a responsibility,” Patel said on The Joe Rogan Experience. “I’m not just gonna bring a case because somebody hurt me. They did. And they continue to do it. S—, my house just got swatted yesterday.”

Patel’s use of the term “swatting” refers to the act of sending the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team to someone’s house for the sole purpose of intimidating or harassing them.

Swatting can occur from a single false phone call if there is a believable risk of a serious law enforcement emergency.

Local news in Las Vegas reported a swatting call made to Patel’s home address at about 11:15 a.m. on June 3.

“These people play. It’s the ultimate height of hypocrisy,” he said. “They have two sets of rules. One against you and one for them.”

Political figures, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-Georgia), Joe Pagliarulo of The Joe Pags Show, and Shawn Farash of Ungoverned, have also come forward to describe swatting experiences.

In March, Patel posted a warning about the influx of swatting incidents on X.

“This isn’t about politics—weaponizing law enforcement against ANY American is not only morally reprehensible but also endangers lives, including those of our officers,” he said. “That will not be tolerated.”
