Tesla CEO Elon Musk appeared on Tucker Carlson’s online show for an interview, during which the two made light of political violence.
The interview began with the two discussing Musk’s support for former President Donald Trump. Musk and Carlson joked about Musk’s theory of why there have been no assassination attempts on Vice President Kamala Harris.
Musk referred to Harris as “a puppet” and said if she was assassinated, she would be replaced by another puppet. The joke stems from a post Musk made on X about Trump’s assassination attempts.
Carlson considered the post more than a joke; it was eye-opening.

Carlson supported this statement, “It’s not worth it, there’s an endless supply,” Carlson chuckled. “It could be anybody.”
Trump has been the subject of two assassination attempts this year. One man shot at Trump at his rally in Pennsylvania and was killed by the Secret Service. A second man took a shot at the former president while he was on a Florida golf course.
In August, Musk interviewed Trump in a bizarre, glitch-filled interview on his platform X.
