Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk criticized Mackenzie Scott, the ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, for donating $19 billion to over 2,000 nonprofits through her Yield Giving organization since 2019.
Scott’s net worth remains above $30 billion with the rising value of her Amazon shares.
Musk wrote a post on X talking about Scott, saying, “Super rich ex-wives who hate their former spouse should be listed among ‘Reasons that Western Civilization died.'”
Scott invests directly in the best nonprofits in the field, allowing them to decide how to spend their gifts. Charity experts consider her organization among the best in the world.
