Donald Trump Gives Himself An A+: ‘I Don’t Know How You Can Impeach Someone Who Has Done A Great Job’

President Donald Trump on Thursday predicted that “everybody would be very poor” should he be impeached before questioning how someone who has “done a great job” could possibly be impeached at all.

In an interview that aired Thursday with Fox News’ Ainsley Earhardt, Earhardt asked the president whether he believed Democrats would move to impeach him should they win back control of Congress. “If I ever got impeached, I think the market would crash, I think everybody would be very poor,” Trump responded. “You would see numbers that you wouldn’t believe.”

“You know, I guess it says something like high crimes and all — I don’t know how you can impeach somebody who has done a great job,” the president said.

The president was also asked to grade himself on the job he’s done so far, to which he gave himself an “A+” asserting that he doesn’t believe “any President has ever done what I have done,” before touting his successful Supreme Court nomination of Neil Gorsuch and predicting that his next high court pick, Brett Kavanaugh, will be confirmed as well.
