DeSantis Will Have Over $100 Million Left From Campaign For Possible Presidential Bid
Florida Gov. Ron Desantis (R) has raised over $111 million for his reëlection campaign for governor so far this year.
The record-breaking sum of cash is considered to be more than enough to win his bid for the governor’s seat in the Sunshine State. With the money raised, a key question is: will DeSantis use his fundraising abilities to run for the presidency?
With a sum that could reach over $200 million by election day, DeSantis will have about half left over in seed money for practically any ambition. It is possible for DeSantis to use the funds to jumpstart a bid for the presidency. Though, when asked in the past about his future political goals, DeSantis has shrugged off claims that he would run for president against Trump.
Super PACs are already a large part of America’s election process. GOP donors range from everyday Fox News watchers to mega-donors worth millions.
