Sean Hannity Fans Boycott Keurig After Company Pulls Ads From News Show
In a joint letter to Fox News chairman Rupert Murdoch, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-New York) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-New York) asked the conservative media tycoon to stop “spreading false election narratives.”
The letter warned Fox News hosts may incite “further acts of political violence.”
The letter focused on Fox host Tucker Carlson, who has been granted exclusive access to the security footage of the January 6 attack on the Capitol. House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-California) handed the footage to the popular host.
“We demand that you direct Tucker Carlson and other hosts on your network to stop spreading false election narratives and admit on the air that they were wrong to engage in such negligent behavior,” the Democratic leaders wrote in the letter.

“Though you have acknowledged your regret in allowing this grave propaganda to take place, your network hosts continue to promote, spew, and perpetuate election conspiracy theories to this day.”
Fox News is facing a lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems. The voting machine operator faced a barrage of falsehoods from Fox News hosts following the 2020 election, claiming their machinery was unreliable and susceptible to fraud.
In a deposition for the lawsuit, Murdoch said, “I would have liked us to be stronger in denouncing it in hindsight.”
Despite internal skepticism about election denialism at Fox, popular hosts like Carlson, Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity repeated conspiratorial claims about the 2020 election. Dominion believes the continued lies were profit-seeking.
Fox News has argued that it has the right to air all opinions – even false ones.
