Trump Calls For Fox News To Host Next Presidential Debate, Claims ABC Is Biased Against Him

Former President Donald Trump has called for the next presidential debate to be hosted by Fox News.

Trump accused the network of bias against him amidst his newest attacks on current Vice President Kamala Harris, the likely Democratic nominee.

On Monday night, Trump posted that “ABC Fake News is such a joke, among the absolute WORST in the business. They try to make Crooked Joe a brave warrior because he didn’t have the ‘guts’ to fight it out — He quit!”

The former president continued, writing, “They then tried to make ‘Sleepy’ look like a great President – he was the WORST, and Lyin’ Kamala into a competent person, which she is not. ABC, the home of George Slopadopolus, is not worthy of holding a Debate, of which I hope there will be many!”

Trump has suggested that the network Fox News should host the second presidential debate over ABC. “Now that Joe has, not surprisingly, has quit the race, I think the Debate, with whomever the Radical Left Democrats choose, should be held on Fox News, rather than very biased ABC,” Trump wrote, just hours after Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the race.

The next debate date was set for September 10, which was agreed upon between Trump and Biden. However, after the president’s weak performance at the first debate and many Democratic leaders calling for him to drop out of the race, Biden did just that, instead endorsing Harris. The vice president received enough votes Monday night to earn the top spot of the Democratic ticket.

ABC anchor David Muir questioned RNC Chair Michael Whatley about the possibility of Trump abandoning the original debate if Harris was his opponent.

“I’ll defer to the president regarding any of the details,” Whatley said. “But we’ve made it clear that we welcome that debate because we want to talk about the contrast between the Biden-Harris agenda and Donald Trump’s agenda.”
