A week after the 2020 presidential election, Texas Lt. Gov Dan Patrick (R-Texas) announced on his website that he would give “up to $1 million to incentivize, encourage, and reward people to come forward and report voter fraud.” Patrick’s call came after former President Donald Trump falsely claimed massive voter fraud – by Democrats.
Patrick was not able to substantiate any cases of fraud – until now. He has just paid $25,000 to Democrat Eric Frank. Frank, a poll worker in Pennsylvania, reported a Republican voter, Ralph Halloway Thurman, tried to vote a second time as his son.
He immediately recognized Thurman the second time he attempted to vote wearing a “dark baseball hat and Ray-Ban sunglasses.” Court documents say Thurman pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three years probation.
Frank told CNN, “I do things because it’s the right thing to do. And I would have reported a Republican or a Democrat.”
