Conservative political pundit and once fervent former President Donald Trump supporter Ann Coulter deemed Trump as “done” in the first episode of her new podcast, Unsafe.
“You don’t need to suck up to Trump anymore, conservative radio and talk-TV hosts, Republicans running for office,” Coulter said. “He’s over.”
She went on to condemn right-wing media for portraying Trump as more popular than he really is, causing more and more people to identify as independent.
“A lot of people who used to consider themselves Republicans hear the media hectoring them, browbeating them [about how] Trump is the Republican Party,” she said. “It’s Trump’s Republican Party. And they’re thinking to themselves that they always considered themselves Republicans, but if Trump is the Republican Party, maybe they’re an independent.”

In the podcast, Coulter also slammed Trump’s tactics in Georgia by recruiting incumbent Sen. David Perdue (R-Georgia) to run against sitting Gov. Brian Kemp (R) who refused to help Trump in his efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in the state. Kemp eliminated the senator in the primary election with 77% of the vote, in comparison to Perdue’s “humiliating” 22%.
“Trump fans are having a lot of fun, but it isn’t indicative of a movement that’s sweeping the nation,” Coulter concluded. “It’s not the party of Trump. It’s safe to come back, and it’s safe for Republicans to stand up and run without Donald Trump.”
