Conservative billionaire Sheldon Adelson and his wife Miriam Adelson recently donated a total of $75 million to President Donald Trump‘s campaign. The $75 million will be allocated towards producing anti-Biden ads in key battleground states before the November election.
The Adelsons gave the large sum to Preserve America PAC which accounted for approximately ninety-percent of the GOP campaign’s fundraising.
Throughout the 2020 election cycle, the family donated almost $176 million to help multiple Republican candidates.
They gave $50 million to the Senate Leadership Fund which helped defend the Senate majority. An additional $40 million was also included for the Congressional Leadership Fund, a GOP PAC focused on the House.
