The announcement of former Gov. Chris Christie’s (R-New Jersey) new non-profit is leaving many social media users laughing.
The former governor has started the Christie Institute for Public Policy, which will focus on making politics civil.
“Unfortunately our politics have gotten so ugly and divisive in the country that people are not having civilized conversations,” Christie said. He added that the Institute is “going to focus on national issues and on having nonpartisan conversations and research on national issues and international issues.”
