Caitlyn Jenner Signs Deal With Fox News, Hits Back At LGBT Critics

Fox News Media inked a deal with Caitlyn Jenner as a contributor and commentator, the media giant announced.

The former Olympian, reality TV star and 2021 California gubernatorial candidate made her first appearance on Hannity with Sean Hannity on Thursday night.

“Caitlyn’s story is an inspiration to us all,” said Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott. “She is a trailblazer in the LGBTQ+ community and her illustrious career spans a variety of fields that will be a tremendous asset for our audience.”

Jenner responded with a statement of her own, “I am humbled by this unique opportunity to speak directly to FOX News Media’s millions of viewers about a range of issues that are important to the American people,” she said.

Jenner, who is transgender, did not join the conservative company without backlash from the LGBTQIA+ community.

“It isn’t one bit surprising that Fox News hired Caitlyn Jenner as a commentator,” wrote transgender activist Charlotte Clymer on Twitter. “This is always where she was headed. She doesn’t care about other trans people and will say and do anything to invalidate the rest of us for her own benefit and Fox News is happy to make that deal.”

Jenner responded to the criticism on Twitter on Thursday night.

“The irony of the fringe in the LGBT population is knocking me on ‘trans day of visibility’ which they tout every chance they get, all day long,” she wrote. “Meanwhile I am the most visible trans person in the world. The irony of the left and the WOKE never ceases to astound me.”
