Republican California Gubernatorial candidate Caitlyn Jenner said in an interview Wednesday that she is “all for the wall” at the U.S. southern border.
“I am all for the wall, I would secure the wall. We can’t have a state, we can’t have a country, without a secure wall,” Jenner told Sean Hannity. Regarding undocumented people already living in the Untied States, Jenner said, “You have two questions here. One is stopping people from coming in illegally into the state. And then the second question is, what do we do with the people that are here? We are a compassionate country, okay? We are a compassionate state.”
“I mean, some people we’re going to send back, ok, no question about that,” she said. “But I have met some of the greatest immigrants into our country.”

Jenner later commented on California infrastructure saying, “We need to upgrade our electrical grid.” She also advocated for an early-detection system for forest fires. “Forest management is extremely important,” the candidate said.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) emailed supporters soon after Jenner announced her candidacy saying that “she is working closely with Donald Trump’s former presidential campaign manager and the person behind his small-dollar fundraising success. So we’re going to need help keeping up with Caitlyn’s personal wealth and ability to raise money from right-wing donors now that she has Trump’s team with her.”
