Bill O’Reilly Says Trump Will Run Again In 2024

Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly said that former President Donald Trump plans to run for president again in 2024.

The TV personality spoke on the prime time show, NewsNation, hosted by Dan Abrams. On the program, O’Reilly said that he was encouraging Trump to bolster his presidential campaign by emphasizing the fact that the Covid-19 vaccine was first developed under his administration.

“I’m trying to tell President Trump, run on your record,” O’Reilly said. “He’s going to run again, all right. I said, ‘Run on your record because your record is pretty darn good.'”

He said that he had spoken with Trump after the former president had spoken at a rally in Dallas. At the rally, Trump had revealed that he had gotten a Covid-19 vaccine booster. His admission was met with boos from the crowd. Trump had then called O’Reilly to discuss what had occurred.

O’Reilly said that he had given Trump advice to play the vaccine to his advantage.

He claimed that he told Trump, “This is good for you. This is good that people see another side of you, not a political side. You told the truth. You believe in the vax. Your administration did it, and you should take credit for it.”

Abrams pointed to the fact that Trump had politicized the vaccines. Trump and his wife both received vaccines in January, before he left office, but he continually downplayed the severity of the pandemic and encouraged disbelief in scientists. Today, a large number of people mistrust the vaccine, which has greatly stymied efforts to curtail the coronavirus pandemic.

O’Reilly acknowledged that many of Trump’s supporters oppose the vaccine. He told Abrams, “Every single politician plays to a crew.”

Trump has previously implied that he will run for president in 2024, and reportedly plans to announce his official run after the midterm elections.

“I am certainly thinking about it, and we’ll see,” Trump said on the subject last month. “I think a lot of people will be very happy, frankly, with the decision and probably will announce that after the midterms.”
