Former President Bill Clinton was released from the hospital on Sunday.
Clinton was admitted to the University of California Irvine Medical Center on Tuesday evening, said spokesman Angel Ureña. The former president was treated for an infection that was non-COVID-related.
In a statement released on Thursday, Ureña said: “He is on the mend, in good spirits and is incredibly thankful to the doctors, nurses, and staff providing him with excellent care.”
Physicians Dr. Alpesh Amin and Dr. Lisa Bardack told Ureña that the former President was “administered IV antibiotics and fluids.”
