Former Vice President Joe Biden won the Democratic primaries in both Florida and Illinois by wide margins on Tuesday night. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) came in a distant second in both states in a disappointing result that will make it nearly impossible to win enough delegates to win the Democratic presidential nomination.
Biden won strong majorities among all races, older people and college educated voters. Sanders performed best among young voters and the very liberal.
