President Joe Biden tested positive over the weekend with a “rebound” Covid-19 case, but “continues to feel well,” according to the White House.
Biden, 79, ended his quarantine period last week after testing negative but was quickly isolated again on Saturday.
The President’s “rebound” case also comes after it was revealed that he was taking Paxlovid during his first bout with Covid. The medication, which was approved for pharmacies by the Food and Drug Administration in early July, has been known to speed up recovery only for the virus to return days later. Biden used the medication for the prescribed five days.
