Biden Says Trump Is Being ‘Absolutely Irresponsible’ For Taking Hydroxychloroquine: ‘What’s He Doing?’

Former Vice President Joe Biden criticized President Donald Trump on Tuesday for saying he’s take hydroxychloroquine.

Trump recently told reporters that he has been taking the said anti-malarial drug, believing that it would prevent him from getting the coronavirus.

“I take it. I hope to not be able to take it soon because, you know, I hope they come up with some answer,” Trump said last Monday. “But I think people should be allowed to.”

During an interview with Yahoo News on Wednesday, Biden blasted Trump for taking the drug and giving unproven medical advice.

“Look, this is absolutely irresponsible,” Biden said. “There’s no serious medical personnel out there saying to use that drug. It’s counterproductive. It’s not going to help. Look at the studies that have been done. It does much more harm than good. This is totally irresponsible.”

The preumptive Democratic nominee also sarcastically referred to the “disinfectant” remark Trump had made a few weeks ago.

“It’s like saying maybe if you injected Clorox into your blood, maybe it’ll cure you. What is he doing? What in God’s name is he doing?”
