Over the month of September, President Donald Trump raised $247.8 million, a sum larger than the months before. However, his Democratic opponent Joe Biden raised $383 million in the same month.
The Republican National Committee and its fundraising committees reported having $251.4 million in cash. In comparison, Biden reported having $432 million just weeks prior to the November election.
Trump’s campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh assured that the president is entering the “final stretch with strength, resources, record & huge ground game needed to spread message and secure re-election.”
Back in August, Trump raised a total of $210 million while Biden raised $364.8 million.
