Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden‘s campaign raised more than President Donald Trump‘s campaign in both June and the second quarter of 2020.
Biden’s joint effort with the Democratic National Committee (DNC) raised $141 million in June alone.
The former vice president was helped by reactions to the president’s erratic behavior surrounding the coronavirus, George Floyd‘s murder and the racial justice protests throughout the country.
Biden’s campaign announced that total for contributions during the second quarter of 2020 were over $282 million.
