On Thursday, President Joe Biden visited the families of the victims who died or remain missing inside the rubble of a collapsed condominium building in the town of Surfside, Florida.
During the meeting, which lasted about three hours, Biden promised federal support to the families while offering comfort, White House officials announced.
“The waiting, the waiting, is unbearable,” Biden told the families.
Following the meeting, Biden met up with the reporters and described the grief he saw from the victims’ families.
