Former Vice President Joe Biden has fired back at President Donald Trump after Trump’s repeated efforts to launch foreign investigations into the activities of the Biden family.
Biden declared Wednesday, “You’re not going to destroy me and not going to destroy my family.” Biden said the requests for probes are part of Trump’s 2020 presidential candidate election strategy to disqualify Biden.
After Trump urged the Ukrainian President to search for additional information about the Biden’s activities in Ukraine, the House launched an impeachment inquiry. The president then suggested that China should launch another investigation into the Biden family, stating that “what happened in China is just about as bad as what happened with Ukraine.”
Trump insists he is merely attempting to unveil the Biden family’s repeated acts of foreign corruption. He claims that Biden aided his son, Hunter Biden, a board-member of Burisma Holdings, a private Ukrainian natural gas company, by pressuring Ukraine to fire a top-prosecutor involved in a 2016 investigation launched on the company. Biden has rejected all of these charges.
