Former President Joe Biden has made his first public statements following his cancer diagnosis earlier in May.
Biden was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in mid-May. He has an aggressive form of cancer that has already reached his bones.
In Biden’s statements, he remarked: “The prognosis is good. We’re working on everything. It’s moving along, and I feel good. All the folks are very optimistic,” as well as stating that he believes he can beat cancer. Biden has also noted that the cancer hasn’t affected his organs.
Since Biden’s cancer has reached his bones, he is currently undergoing hormone therapy, which provides a structured treatment to beat the cancer.
