Arrest Warrant Issued For Trump Ally Tina Peters, Election Administrator Who Allegedly Tampered With Machines

A Colorado judge issued a no-bond warrant for former Mesa County election clerk Tina Peters‘ arrest.

Peters was indicted by a grand jury in March for her involvement in an effort to breach election security in 2020 but maintains her innocence.

Peters, a Republican who just lost in Colorado’s GOP primary in her bid to become secretary of state, was charged on 10 accounts of helping an unauthorized person copy sensitive information from voting machines.

Peters was told not to travel out of the state and Peters violated the terms of her bond by traveling to Las Vegas for a conference this week without asking for permission. Her lawyer Harvey Steinberg said that he had been out of the office on Monday and was unable to tell Peters that she could not travel out of state. He argued that her actions in posting photos of the trip on social media showed that she was unaware that she was in violation of the bond agreement.
