At a recent town hall event for former President Donald Trump, attendees began to leave early after he stopped taking questions and played music instead. The event was held in Oaks, Pennsylvania, and moderated by Gov. Kristi Noem (R-South Dakota).
While two attendees received medical attention, Trump asked if anyone else wanted to faint. He then said, “Let’s not do any more questions. Let’s just listen to music.”
Trump played about nine songs, including “An American Trilogy” by Elvis Presley, “Nothing Compares 2 U” by Sinéad Oconnor, “YMCA” by the Village People, and “Memory” from the musical Cats.
Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung posted about the event on X: “Total lovefest at the PA town hall! Everyone was so excited they were fainting, so @realDonaldTrump turned to music.”

Independent journalist Aaron Rupar criticized Trump, posting on X: “Wow—this is weird. Trump wrapped up his town hall in Oaks, Pennsylvania, after a few questions, and right after he said he would take a few more questions, more music then played while Trump stood around on stage. Deeply bizarre scenes.”
Vice President Kamala Harris replied to a video of Trump at the rally on X, saying, “Hope he’s okay.”
Harris continues to urge Trump to release his medical records. He will be the oldest inaugurated president in U.S. history if elected in November.
