President Joe Biden has indicated that he will run for re-election in 2024. If he does, a rematch of the 2020 election could occur.

The Reuters/Ipsos poll also asked respondents of their familiarity with various politicians. In this section, Biden had 99% familiarity, a slight edge over Trump’s 98%.

Vice President Kamala Harris has a 96% familiarity rating. Cruz has 92% familiarity, Christie has 82% and DeSantis and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg each have 76%.

In terms of favorability, rather than familiarity, 52% of poll respondents favored Biden. This was above Trump’s favorability rating, which was 44%.

Trump has not officially announced another run for the White House. However, he has said he is “thinking about,” and has implied that he will announce a bid soon.

He said in an interview in November of his decision regarding a potential run, “I think a lot of people will be very happy, frankly, with the decision, and probably will announce that after the midterms.”
