Vivek Ramaswamy Criticizes Trump For Making ‘False Promises’ On Repealing Obamacare
Vivek Ramaswamy, a GOP presidential candidate, criticized former President Donald Trump for not being able to “repeal and replace” Obamacare, as he had promised.
“My friend Donald Trump promised us: repeal and replace Obamacare. Eight years later, did it happen? No, it did not. It is a false promise if it is contingent on Congress,” Ramaswamy said at a banquet in Ohio. “I am never somebody who will make a false promise.”
Although Ramaswamy is running against Trump for the 2024 Republican nomination, he is a loyal defender of the former president. Ramaswamy has referred to Trump as “the best president of the 21st century.”
Ramaswamy is one of 12 candidates who are in the running for the GOP’s nomination.

A recent Fox News poll suggests Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has to watch his back as Ramaswamy is nipping at his heels for second place.
The candidate recently made a speech on his proposal for the United States to reduce its dependency on China. Ramaswamy believes this can be done by bringing pharmaceutical and industrial supply chains back to the U.S.
He also promised at the first Republican debate to pardon Trump, if he’s elected.
