Trump Insults ‘Disaster’ Chris Christie After He Says Ex President Is ‘In The Rearview Mirror’
Former New Jersey governor Chris Christie says former President Donald Trump is “in the rearview mirror.”
Though Christie has refused to mention the former president by name during his recent speeches, he has made it quite clear whom he is referring to.
Christie, a potential 2024 presidential candidate, said on Saturday at the National Republican Jewish Coalition: “We can no longer talk about the past and the past elections — no matter where you stand on that issue, no matter where you stand, it is over. Any president, particularly a Republican one, should never be throwing bouquets at a murdering communist dictator in China. We should never be telling that person they’re doing something well.”
In a statement released Monday, Trump openly critiqued his former rival: “Chris Christie, who just made a speech at the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) in Las Vegas, was just absolutely massacred by his statements that Republicans have to move on from the past, meaning the 2020 Election Fraud. Everybody remembers that Chris left New Jersey with a less than 9% approval rating – a record low, and they didn’t want to hear this from him!”
