Supreme Court Temporarily Blocks House From Receiving Unredacted Mueller Report
The Supreme Court on Wednesday temporarily blocked the House from obtaining an unredacted version of former Special Counsel Robert Mueller‘s report regarding the Russia investigation.
The House Judiciary Committee requested nearly a year ago documents that Mueller’s prosecutors had collected from witnesses about President Donald Trump.
The Supreme Court’s brief order did not explain why it blocked an appeals court from ordering the release of the full report, and there were no dissents.
The court also ordered the Justice Department to file a petition seeking review by June 1, at which point the court will decide whether or not to extend the block.
