They also explained that police were on the scene quickly because Paul Pelosi called 911 while the man, now identified as 42-year-old David DePape, was breaking into the house. Law enforcement has gone on record denying other conspiracy theories that have arisen in the past few days, including that Paul Pelosi and DePape knew each other and had some kind of prior relationship. Officials say that is not the case.
