Second Woman Accuses Herschel Walker Of Urging Her To Get An Abortion

Another woman who was previously romantically involved with Georgia U.S. Senate candidate Herschel Walker (R) claimed that he pressured her to get an abortion during their relationship in 1993.

Walker has been an outspoken pro-life advocate throughout his campaign, but women from his past have been speaking up and sharing instances that he encouraged them to end their pregnancies.

The woman spoke at a press conference on Wednesday. Her identity is unknown as her voice was heard, but her face remained unseen.

“He has publicly taken the position that he is about life and against abortion under any circumstance when in fact he pressured me to have an abortion and personally ensured that it occurred by driving me to the clinic and paying for it,” she said, before adding, “I do not believe that Herschel is morally fit to be a U.S. senator,” she said. “And that is the reason why I am speaking up and providing proof.”

The woman, who is being referred to as Jane Doe for privacy, said that her motive for sharing her story isn’t political as she’s registered as an Independent and voted for Donald Trump in the past two elections.

Walker responded to the accusation ahead of the press conference accusing Democrats of making up stories to make him look bad so they can retain the Senate seat.

“I already told people this is a lie, and I’m not going to entertain, continue to carry a lie along. And I also want to let you know that I didn’t kill JFK either,” he said.

Walker said on the campaign trail in May that he would be likely to support a full abortion ban, meaning no exceptions for rape, incest or to save the life of the mother.

Earlier this month, a former girlfriend of Walker went public with a similar story, that Walker pressured her and paid for her abortion in 2009.
