Former President Donald Trump is still not over the 2020 election results, and he made that clear at his first rally of 2022 in Florence, Arizona. The former president continued to make false claims about his defeat in the 2020 elections and attacked his successor. “Biden has utterly humiliated our nation,” he said.
Trump used his speech to discuss his presidency claiming it was a time of prosperity and security. He falsely argued that those involved in the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol were FBI informants – and not Trump supporters at all. “Why aren’t they doing it to Antifa and Black Lives Matter?” the former president mused.
One of the many candidates that attended the rally was Kari Lake, a former television journalist turned Republican politician who is running for governor of Arizona. Lake called out migrants stating, “To the people across our border, when I am governor, you will be arrested and sent back across the border.”
Trump has been a strong supporter of Lake in her journey to become governor of Arizona.

At the conclusion of the rally, many found it difficult to exit the venue. It took almost three hours for the crowd to vacate the premises.
