Pence Breaks From Trump Again, Likely To Attend Biden Inauguration
Vice President Mike Pence has made very few public comments since the joint session of Congress that went early into Thursday morning due to the riots in the Capitol building.
But Pence is now expected to attend President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 20. However, in a statement, spokesman for the vice president, Devin O’Malley said that Pence had “not yet made a decision,” if we would attend or not.
President Donald Trump has publicly stated that he will not attend the upcoming inauguration. Aides explain that Trump is likely to fly to his Florida resort Mar-a-Lago directly before January 20, so he is not in D.C. on Inauguration Day.
