NEW YORK - SEPTEMBER 20: Former U.S. President Barack Obama answers questions at the Gates Foundation Inaugural Goalkeepers event on September 20, 2017 in New York City.
In an interview with 60 Minutes, President Donald Trump said that he would like to see the Affordable Care Act (ACA), better known as Obamacare, struck down.
Trump suggested that he would introduce his own healthcare plan if the Supreme Court were to invalidate the Obamacare.
When asked why he has not released any healthcare plan thus far, the president responded, “It is developed. It is fully developed. It is going to be announced very soon when we see what happens with Obamacare, which is not good.”
“It will be much less expensive than Obamacare, which is a disaster, and it will take care of people with preexisting conditions,” Trump added.
