On Wednesday, President Donald Trump said he was “not happy” with Attorney General William Barr and did not comment on whether the attorney general will serve for another term.
When asked if Barr would keep his position as head of the Justice Department, Trump said, “I have no comment. I can’t comment on that. It’s too early.”
“I’m not happy with all the evidence I have, I can tell you that. I’m not happy,” the president added.
Trump’s comments followed the Justice Department and Barr’s investigation on the “unmasking” of Trump campaign officials during the 2016 election. The case was closed without finding any wrongdoing or charges brought.
